[cobirds] Scoters, Loons, and more. Boulder County

This afternoon my mom and I went around some of the reservoirs in Boulder County to see what we could find the highlights were:

Baseline Reservoir
Common Loon
Red Breasted Merganser
Clarks Grebe

Valmont Reservoir
Common Loon
Roughly 15 Canvasback
2 Clarks Grebe

Boulder Reservoir
Loon sp- looked good for PALO from distance but was never verified

2 Surf Scoters- photos attached, sorry for the low quality. It was digiscoped, the light was awful plus we chose the worst viewing point possible :). I think it's still ID'able, but it was viewed much better in the field.
You can still make out the scoter shaped bill,  overall body shape, and dot behind the eye if you zoom in.

Clarks Grebe
2 Greater Scaup

Dodd Reservoir:
Mountain Bluebird
A few dabbling duck species

Good Birding
