There was a good migrant arrival at dawn this morning, at Clear Spring Ranch. Frenetically feeding in a couple of tamarisks were several Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a male Townsend's Warbler (FOS). Later the snag was visited by a male Red-naped Sapsucker. Of course, all of these stayed ABOVE my nets, but I had a good morning of banding sparrows and a male Com Yellowthroat, nonetheless.
Good birding,
