[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report, September 27

We opened at 6:40 (as usual) and had a couple of decent runs, catching 22 birds.  You will see from the breakdown that the species are similar to what we've been getting the last week, so nothing unusual.  But we anticipated having a very good day, as recently the number of birds has been increasing as the morning went on, with 10ish being the busiest time.  But about 8 a.m. the cold wind picked up and we were forced to do a very quick close.  Here's a breakdown of the 22 birds:

House Wren 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 5
Hermit Thrush 3
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Wilson's Warbler 2
Clay-colored Sparrow 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow 7
Mountain White-crowned Sparrow 1
