A male long-tailed duck is still hanging out at Sands Lake in Salida. I watched him from about 20 yards away today. Also several Barrow's goldeneye, common goldeneye, a redhead, a few buffleheads, lots of gadwalls, coots, and ring-necked ducks, mallards, a hooded merganser, and a dozen great-tailed grackles.
