Cobirders
I have been to the parking lot at Hwy. 67 and Rampart Range Rd twice in the past week and have had Red Crossbills both times. They are feeding on the cones in the top of the Douglas Firs. Also look for them in the tops of the dead trees right at the intersection of these two roads.
There are several photos in checklist below. I missed the Three-toed Woodpecker that has been in the area.
