I went to Timnath Reservoir this afternoon to see if geese were hanging around
the frozen water. I encountered 5000-7000 geese. Included in the throng were
a single Greater White-fronted Goose, 5 Snow Geese and 1 Ross' Goose. Also,
accompanying the geese were 6 bald eagles. Timnath Reservoir is located off
of Buss Grove Road north and east of the town of Timnath.
