Volunteers needed. Training is free!
Matt Smith of Bird Conservancy of the Rockies asked me to let birders know about this opportunity:
Do your bit. Give back to the birds you love. Sign up now!

Bird Conservancy of the Rockies Bald Eagle Watch program has a training and recruiting date coming up on January 21, 2017 at the Old Stone House Environmental Learning Center at Barr Lake State Park.
The event will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is intended for those interested in volunteering with Bald Eagle Watch.
Bald Eagle Watch began at Barr Lake State Park in 1988, with the purpose of monitoring and protecting the pair of eagles that made Barr Lake their home. Since then the program has grown along with Colorado's Bald Eagle population,
and now monitors more than 50 eagle nests across the state. As the eagle population continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers.
