[cobirds] The Return of Whitey Wing

We were pleased to see the return of whitey wing, a male Red-winged Blackbird with pure white left side primaries. We first saw him in 2010 and photographed him. He was an adult at that time. So he is at least 7 years old by our estimates. And if you are wondering about the oldest wild Red-winged BB, well, one wild bird was know to have lived 15 years and 9 months.

A snowy day here and I have been watching the feeder for him....3 inches and counting.
