Hi everyone.
Ten of us (most from Colo Spgs and Penrose) had good views of the Slaty-backed gull this afternoon from 3:50 until almost 4:30. We arrived at the lake a little before noon and were surprised at how much it had frozen over since our visit on Friday. At 1:30 we took a break from the cold and returned at 3:30.
It was great to get to see it on our second try.
