The BRANT continues at Chatfield SP. Early this morning it was at the Marina with the usual geese, later flying off with them to the south-southeast to forage somewhere. The edge of the ice off the sandspit had 1 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, 2 THAYER'S GULLS (adult and 1st cycle), 1 adult PEREGRINE FALCON standing on the ice, and 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE on the spit. An AMERICAN PIPIT was along the South Platte channel at the base of the dam.
-- Two LONG-TAILED DUCKS continued at South Platte Reservoir, first in Arapahoe waters then flying to Jeffco waters.
