[cobirds] jim hamm park, longmont, Boulder County

That fine stop for migrating ducks is currently being cleaned out of a few year's accumulation of muck.   Absolutely dry, and will continue to be dry for a month.   The excavating machines may affect the migrating songbirds in the neighboring woods as well.    Parking is still available.
The other migrating stopover, Union Reservoir, is drained down so it is about a quarter mile from shore viewing points.  Bring a scope, which helps when viewing the 7 Bald Eagles I saw there Wednesday.
