Hey everyone,

Are you ready to spread your wings and support us for the upcoming Birdathon? It's time to rally your flock and support Denver Audubon's mission to inspire actions that protect birds, wildlife, and their habitats through education, conservation, and research.

This year we have 12 passionate teams participating in the 2023 Birdathon, including our staff team, the Bird Brainiacs. Throughout the month of May, teams will embark on a 24-hour birding adventure to find as many bird species as possible in popular bird habitats throughout Colorado. Our total fundraising goal is $50,000 across all 12 teams. Birdathon donations will be used to add more educational programs and reach more schools year round.

It's going to be a feather-ruffling competition, and we need your help to make it a success. By supporting a team, you'll not only be helping Denver Audubon grow, but you'll also be part of a fun and exciting competition. And don't forget, the top two teams with the most funds raised and species spotted will win a prize! Who will take home the trophy this year? Will it be a new team, or will the reigning champs, Team 4 Vets in Search of a Bird, hold onto their title?

Most importantly, this event is about supporting Denver Audubon and our mission to protect birds, wildlife and their habitats. We cannot do what we do without you. So, please spread your wings and support a team today.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to bird conservation. And thank you to our 12 teams for going above and beyond to support Denver Audubon in competing and what we hope is our most successful Birdathon yet.

Sincerely,

Your friends at Denver Audubon
