Most of the interesting gulls have returned to Warren Lake where dead fish are stuck in the ice. Today, around noon I counted:
100 Ring-billed
15 Herring
8 Iceland (Thayer's)
5 Lesser Black- backed
4 California
2 Herring x Glaucous-winged
2 unidentified
1 Herring x Glaucous
1 Herring x California (adult)
1 Great Black-backed (first cycle)
I heard that several hundred more arrived after I left. Photos will be uploaded to eBird.
