Today at Chatfield Botanical Gardens I found a Northern waterthrush near first footbridge downstream of parking lot. Just north of parking lot was an adult male Calliope hummingbird. At home I have really good numbers of hummingbirds on flowers and feeders. This weekend I have seen male, female and juvenile of all 4 expected species. There is a public path behind my house, 16475 W 62nd Lane Arvada, if anyone interested. At my In-laws house in the same neighborhood a Black-chinned has nested on an aspen branch overhanging their front porch for 3 summers. Picture from 2017 nest.
