Early this morning I found a male Scott's Oriole on the east shore of Brush Hollow Reservoir high up in a cottonwood tree. It was located at the northern most of the three shore side parking lots near the east entrance to the SWA.
A couple of photos are shown below. For some reason the under parts in the photos look more orange than pure yellow. This is a photographic artifact, maybe due to the early morning sun. The color was actually a lemon yellow.
