COBirders-- My post yesterday elicited a very friendly response from a birder that caused me to question my statements as to the rarity of black-backed Lesser Goldfinches in SE Colorado. Upon checking my records and taking a sober assessment of my fuzzy mental memory bank, I believe black-backed LEGOs are less rare here than I posted. Forget the exaggerated green to black ratio. --Yet another example of how this listserv promotes the quality of birding and birdlife.
