About 10 days ago I saw a bird leaving the small park just NE of the Post Office in Elbert and thought it looked like a Cuckoo; didn't think it was likely to be one at the time and I didn't give it a second thought.
The small treed area should probably be checked.
The bird flew N-NE to the trees as it did when we saw it a few days ago, flying from the cemetery.
Also check the trees in the field north of the marshy are.
