This afternoon I saw the Mute Swan at Stewart's Pond (eBird hotspot), Weld County. I just stopped by long enough to identify it, before I headed over to the Wetlands hotspot down the road. There I found shorebirds galore--Black-necked Stilts, Avocets, various types of Sandpipers that I have yet to firmly identify, trifecta of Teals, and more. A nice day before the rain blew in.
