[cobirds] Glossy Ibis-Colorado City

This AM an adult Glossy Ibis was at the pond behind the BSJ Bank at the SW corner of North Parkway & CSH165.  It was with a flock of W-f Ibis between 10-1030AM & probably still there.

Other area birds of interest:

1 Cackling Goose 4-19-17 (somewhat late date)BSJ Bank Pond

2 Eastern Phoebes almost daily @ west end of Greenhorn Meadows Park, Colorado City--a traditional nesting area.

1 singing male Field Sparrow 4-17-17 along Lake Beckwith intake ditch just west of Satanta Blvd., Colorado City

1 adult male Indigo Bunting(my house, Birch Dr., SW of-Rye)4-19-17, early date for Pueblo County.

Saw a flock of 10-12 Glossy Ibis in a marshy, swampy field just south of Pella Crossing in Hygiene, CO. I couldn't see up close enough to tell if they were white-faced Glossy Ibis. I think this is the first time I've seen this bird in Colorado, though I know others have. So exciting.
