[cobirds] Yellow-throated Vireo at Lamar Community College

Birders,

I got a call from Janeal Thompson this morning about the Worm-eating
Warbler she had found at the south end of the Lamar Community College
Woods (Prowers County). Although I failed to relocate the warbler, I
did find a Yellow-throated Vireo, which was later seen by Janeal
Thompson, Jane Stulp and Norma Verhoeff. This bird sang a few times, and
was at the same spot as the Worm-eating Warbler. Go south on the main
trail that starts at the green gate at the south end of the college,
look for the first house, and continue south on the until you are due
west of it. This will be about 100 feet south of a huge pile of cut logs.

Also in this area was a "hamburger" male Summer Tanager, sporting the
gaudy colors of oozing ketchup and mustard.
