[cobirds] Spring Park reservoir - Eagle Cty

Hi all

 

Popped up to Spring Park reservoir above El Jebel this evening (Saturday). It’s pretty much full to the brim, so very hard from the road to spot if there were any shorebirds there. I didn’t see any ..

1 Common Loon – basic plumage

10 Western Grebes

1 Clarke’s Grebe

35 Eared Grebes (we had one in our yard last week – freshly dead corpse on the lawn!)

ca10 Barrow’s Goldeneyes

7 Wilson’s Phalaropes

7 White-faced Ibis

1 Bonaparte’s Gull

2 Ring-billed Gulls
