5/8/14 in eastern Rio Grande County. a Peregrine Falcon near RG road 3E. Red-breasted Merganser at Home Lake. Plus 2 Purple Martins, Osprey, 2 Spotted Sandpipers. Lazuli Bunting at feeder nearby. Common Nighthawk west of Monte Vista. San Luis Valley is alive with birds and yummy bugs.
