[cobirds] Fountain Creek RP Spring Bird Count, May 10

Hello, COBirders,

 

This is a reminder regarding the Fountain Creek Regional Park (FCRP) annual spring bird count this Saturday, May 10, 2014. For planning purposes, please RSVP by phoning 719-520-6745, or replying to this email if you wish to participate (Steve.Getty@ColoradoCollege.edu). The remodeled, super-cool FCRP nature center requests a $5/person donation to help support their bird feeder seed program. Please bring cameras to photo-document any rare bird species that your group encounters!

 

Where: Fountain Creek Nature Center (320 Peppergrass Ln, Fountain, CO, 80817)

When: 7:00 – 11:00 a.m., May 10, 2014

Who: Everyone is welcome!

What to bring: Binoculars, field guides, cameras, water, sunblock

We will provide: Coffee, orange juice, breakfast goodies beforehand

At 11:00 AM, we reconvene at the FCRP Nature Center for a tally of the species found. Groups can then go out to seek/peruse some of exciting birds discovered that AM!
