First of Season Orchard Oriole on CR 25
FOS Eastern Kingbird at Firestone gravel Pits
FOS Bullock's Oriole at Pearson Park (just west of the town of Fort Lupton on hwy 52)
Pearson Park also had an immature BROAD-WINGED HAWK near the river and the surprise of the night an adult LITTLE BLUE HERON flew over my head at 6 PM headed North East to South West. I am unsure where he would be headed, though there are a few small ponds around that area. Unfortunately tonight I opted to play with my puppy instead of carry my camera, so no photos, but the bird was no more than 50 feet overhead with nice clear views through my bins.
