—On November 5 a Dunlin was reported at Barr Lake S.P. By David Dowell on the 5th.


ARAPAHOE COUNTY:

—On November 7 (4) Tundra Swans flying south over Littleton Cemetery reported by David Suddjian 

—On November 5 a Mew Gull was reported at Aurora Reservoir by David Dowell on the 5th.

--On October 31 a Red-necked Grebe was reported amid a group of Western Grebes at Cherry Creek SP by Glenn Walbek.

--On October 31 (3) Tundra Swans were reported at Aurora Reservoir by Diane Roberts.


BENT COUNTY:

--On November 2 a Black Scoter, perhaps a continuing bird first reported by Steve Mlodinow in late October, was reported at Adobe Creek Reservoir (Blue Lake) by David Tonnessen.

--On November 2 (2) Red-throated Loons were reported swimming together at John Martin Reservoir by Steve Mlodinow.


BOULDER COUNTY:

—On November 6 a Long-tailed Duck was reported at Macintosh Lake by David Dowell on the 6th.

--On October 31 a Tundra Swan was reported at Boulder Reservoir by Peter Burke.

--On October 31 a Tundra Swan was reported at Lagerman Reservoir.  (3) were first reported on October 30 by Luke Pheneger.


BROOMFIELD COUNTY:

--On October 31 a female Black Scoter was reported at Plaster Reservoir by Matt Hofeditz.


DENVER COUNTY:

—On October 31 a Pacific Loon was reported at Marston Reservoir-West End.  First reported on October 25 by Doug Kibbe.


EAGLE COUNTY:

--On November 3 a Rusty Blackbird was reported at Lake Creek Village wetlands by Jennifer Prusse.  This area is between I-70 and the Eagle River west of the Edwards Exit.  See Jennifer's eBird checklist.

EL PASO COUNTY:

--On November 3 an immature Golden-crowned Sparrow was reported at the feeder set-up within Red Rock Canyon Open Space, first reported by Jim Merritt on Oct. 30.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—On November 7 (2) Trumpeter Swans were reported on a pond just south of 6th Ave on west side of Kipling in the Federal Center (No public access). Best viewed from Kipling St. First reported by Michelle Puplava.

—On November 4 a Black Scoter was reported in Lakewood at Bear Creek Lake Park, first reported on October 26 by Phil Lyon.

—On November 4 a Pacific Loon was reported in Lakewood at Bear Creek Lake Park, first reported on November 3 by John Drummond. Also, a Common Loon on the lake.

--On November 2 (3) Tundra Swans were reported at Standley Lake Park, south shore, by David and Mitchell Bailey.

--On November 2 (3) Tundra Swans were reported at Tucker Lake by James McCall.

--On November 1 a Winter Wren was reported from the Waterton Canyon Trail (39.4839095, -105.1127136) by Loren Merrill.


KIOWA COUNTY:

--On November 2 a Red-throated Loon thought to be a continuing adult bird from a week ago was reported from NeeNoshe Res by the team of Glenn Walbek, Steve Larsen and Steve Mlodinow.


LARIMER COUNTY:

--On November 7 a immature Long-tailed Duck was reported from North Poudre #4, first reported on November 2 by Rachel Hopper.  This reservoir must be viewed from CR11.

—On November 6 a Pacific Loon on Hamilton Reservoir reported by David Leatherman.

--On November 5 a gray-phase GYRFALCON, perhaps a returnee from last winter, appeared on Trilby Road by the Larimer County Landfill in southwest Fort Collins, reported by Robert Beauchamp on the 3rd. Please post sightings to cobirds. Seen today the 5th on Trilby south of the dump on the electric transmission poles.

--On November 3 (3) imm/f type Surf Scoters were reported at Douglas Reservoir by Dave Leatherman. 

--On November 2 (5) Tundra Swans were reported from Douglas Reservoir by John Shenot and mob.  Rachel Hopper reported seeing what she thought were the same birds later in the day at North Poudre #4 Reservoir (closed access, view from CR11).

--On November 2 (5) Tundra Swans were reported from Bee Lake #5 by Dean Winegar.  This is probably the same group reported from both Douglas Res. and North Poudre #4.

--On November 2 a very out of place Juniper Titmouse was reported from the East Longs Peak Trail in RMNP by Russell Hillsley.  No photos but well described.

--On November 2 a White-winged Scoter was reported at the north end of Horseshoe Lake as viewed from 57th in Loveland, first reported by Nick Komar on October 30.

--On November 2 (2) Tundra Swans were reported from the Cobb Lake Unit of Wellington SWA, first reported by Andy Bankert on November 1.

--On November 1 a Tundra Swan was reported at Lake Estes in Estes Park by Marc Hemmes.

--On November 1 a Rusty Blackbird was reported along a flowing ditch nw of the nw corner of Boxelder Reservoir #3 (Smith Reservoir SWA) on the east side of Larimer CR11 north of 66 Road.  The bird frequents a weir area with dripping water about 50 yards east of, and viewable from, CR11. There is a green metal gate along CR11 and walk-ins from here are allowed along a two-lane dirt road e of the gate to access views of the ditch.  First reported on 30 October by Dave Leatherman.

--On October 31 (5) Trumpeter Swans were reported at the north end of Boyd Lake S.P. (fee area) by Judie Wright.

--On October 31 (3, then 4) Tundra Swans, 2a and 2i, were reported at the north end of Boyd Lake S.P. first by Judie Wright, then Derek Hill.

--On October 31 an immature Long-tailed Duck was reported in the north end of Boyd Lake S.P. by Derek Hill.


MESA COUNTY:

--On November 6 a Trumpeter Swan was reported at Highline Lake S.P., where a pair was first reported on October 30 by Carol Ortenzio.

—On November 5 a Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported at Vega Reservoir by Denise and Mark Vollmar on the 3rd. Second county record.

—On November 5 a Tundra Swan was reported at Highline Lake S.P. By Mike Henwood.

--On November 3 a Pacific Loon was reported from Highline Lake S.P., first reported on November 2 by Jon Horn.

--On November 2 an Ovenbird was reported from Connected Lake S.P. by Art Reisman (see eBird checklist for details).


MORGAN COUNTY:

—On November 7 (3) Long-tailed Ducks at Jackson Reservoir reported by Norm Lewis on the 3rd.

—On November 3 TUFTED DUCK at Jackson Reservoir in a photo of a Long-tailed Duck taken by Norm Lewis. Scott Summershoe discovered the duck in the photo but was unsuccessful the next day in finding it again. Keep and eye out if you are at Jackson Reservoir.


PARK COUNTY:

--On November 2 (4) Tundra Swans were reported at Spinney Mountain Reservoir S.P. by Joey Kellner's DFO group.

--On November 2 (6) Surf Scoters were reported at Spinney Mountain Reservoir S.P. by Joey Kellner's DFO group.

--On November 2 a Long-tailed Duck was reported diving with the scoters at Spinney Mountain Reservoir S. P. by Joey Kellner's DFO group.

--On October 31 (21) Tundra Swans, yes 21, were reported at Spinney Mountain Reservoir S.P. in South Park by David Tonnessen

--On October 31 (19) Tundra Swans, yes 19, were reported at Eleven Mile Reservoir in South Park by David Tonnessen.  Also reported here was a Chestnut-collared Longspur, rare for any of Colorado's mountain parks.


OURAY COUNTY:

--On November 3 a late Western Tanager was reported on Chipeta Drive in Ridgway by Don Marsh.


RIO GRANDE COUNTY:

—On November 4 a Tundra Swan was reported at 1689 Cnty Rd 18, Del Norte by David Kenvin.


ROUTT COUNTY:

—On October 31 a Dunlin was reported at Lake Catamount in Seamboat Sorings by Grey Barbie.


WELD COUNTY:

—On November 6 a Tundra Swan was reported at 37th and Arrowhead Reservoir by Zach Schiff.


SUMMIT COUNTY:

—On November 5 a Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported at Dillon Reservoir—Snake River Inlet by David Suddjian and the DFO field trip on the 5th. FIRST COUNTY RECORD.

--On November 4 (2) Trumpeter Swans were reported in the Arapaho NF at Lake Dillon (39.5958,-106.0896) by Misty Walters.
