Could I have some help with an id for this bird? Appeared on my deck railing 4/4/2019. I have never seen it before, but then, if it is a juvenile, they often surprise me.
Size is just smaller than a robin. From the speckling and color just starting to emerge on its back, I suspect it is a juvenile and will look quite different in a few weeks.
