[cobirds] Eastern Arapahoe County 4/9

A stop at Aurora Res early today met with windy conditions, but highlights: a Red-necked Grebe, Common Loon, 3 Marbled Godwits (never landed), and a flock of lovely Franklin's Gulls. An adult Peregrine Falcon patrolled over once.

Out in far eastern Arapahoe it was even windier at mid-day. Still, CR 42 had 4 Mountain Plovers out across a field, and 4 McCown's Longspurs and a Sage Thrasher. CR 269 had a flock of some 60 Chestnut-collared Longspurs, and a small distant flock of unidentified longspurs.
