This morning at 7:45 a.m., I saw five Wilson's Snipe in a small mudflat just north of the bridge over the South Platte River about 1/4 mile south of Bowles. First time bird for me on the Platte River - nice! Sorry for the poor quality photo - a little too far and dark for the iPhone!
