[cobirds] Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve - Arapahoe Co.

A White-throated Sparrow continues on the eastern edge of Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve, near where the Greenwood Gulch Trail forks before meeting the High Line Canal. Each time I've seen the sparrow, it's been in the same berrying bush, along with White-crowned Sparrows, Song Sparrows, and a Spotted Towhee. Today, it moved around a bit, heading out toward some of the open water along the Green Gulch Trail. I'd  welcome an ID on the bush (chokecherry?), which can be partially seen in the photograph on my eBird checklist.

Also at the preserve was a Northern Shrike, my first there. The shrike was patrolling the marsh between the eastern most pond and the High Line Canal.
