[cobirds] Lapland longspur at model airplanr field, Chatfield State Park, Douglas County

A single male Lapland longspur was among the 30+ Horned Larks feeding on the east side of the parking lot at the model airplane field.

When not feeding, the flock rests on the "airstrip" to the northeast, near a flock of Canada Geese.

The bird was present at 2PM today .
