My birding group of Chris Knight, Kara Carragher, and I had a fun
birding day in Prowers, Bent, and Kiowa Counties in SE Colorado today.

Cassin's Sparrows singing
Yellow-breasted Chat - 1
Lamar Community College:
Yellow-throated Warbler - 1 singing
Nashville Warbler - 1
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1 male
Broad-winged Hawk - 1
White-throated Sparrow - 1
Field Sparrow - 1
Green-tailed Towhee - 1
Gray Catbird - 1
the usual Red-bellied Woodpecker and Northern Cardinals
Near Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar:
Northern Parula - 1 singing male
Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar:
Plumbeous Vireo - 1
Lesser Goldfinch - 1
Willow Creek Park in Lamar:
Rock Wren - 1 kind of an odd place
Melody Tempel Grove, NE Bent County:
Summer Tanager - 1 singing young male - thanks Walbek and all
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1 male
Least and Dusky Flycatcher - 1 each
Ash-throated Flycatcher - 1
Eastern Phoebes - 2
Riverside Cem. in Lamar:
Harris's Sparrow - 1
