This morning we headed out to Rouse Road to look around. Found a pair of Hepatic Tanagers in the usual spot just beyond the railroad tracks. Also saw a Lazuli Bunting and Cassin's Kingbird in the same area.
We continued out Rouse Road for 2.4 more miles...there we saw a lone Hepatic Tanager male. Have posted photos on CFO Facebook page. It was quite close to the road and posed nicely for us. Best looks we have ever had of this bird!
In addition we saw:
Western Bluebird
Mountain Bluebird
Say's Phoebe
Western Tanager
Black-headed Grosbeak
Am. Kestral
Bullock's Oriole
House Wren
Yellow Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Townsend's Solitaire
White-crowned Sparrow
Lewis's Woodpecker

All in all a very nice morning of birding!
Back at the house we have around 2 dozen Evening Grosbeaks
One lone Pinyon Jay
Lots of Yellow Warblers
Lots of Bullock's Oriole
Pair of Western Tanager
American Robin
