[cobirds] Clear Springs Ranch, El Paso Co, Wednesday

Hi COBirders,

Banding Report for CSR, Wed., 5/7/14. A nice morning again, with wind picking up about 10:30, and shutting things down. There was another good turnover in birds. The Chat stopover continues. Yesterday Dave E. had the two old-timers 10, and 7 years old. There were four more adult males today (no juvs or females yet!), two were new, two were banded, one I had banded 8/2012 as a Second-year bird. Lots of males today!

Banded birds: 18 new bands

Dusky Flycatcher, 2 adults, FOS
W Wood-pewee, ad FOS
Wilso's Warbler, f
Yellow Warbler, ad m
Orange-crowned Warbler, ad m
Virginia's Warbler, 2 ad m
Yellow-breastee Chat, 2 adult m (plus 2 more recapped adult m)
House Wren, ad
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, ad m
Hermit Thrush, 2 ad
Black-headed Grosbeak, 3 ad m
Brown Thrasher. ad

Plus 4 birds caught and not banded, 3 Spotted Towhee, 2m, f, and a Black-chinned Hummingbird f.
