Hi COBirders,
Banding Report for CSR, Th 5/1/2014. Initially it was calm, and pleasant, like we haven't seen for a few days! Early on there was a flock of warblers in the cottonwoods, mostly Audubon's Yellow-rumped, but they must have departed pretty quickly, because I didn't see them after 7:45. Wind reappeared about 9:30, and that was that.
Banded today:
Audubon's Warbler, Second-year male
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Adult female
Orange-crowned Warbler, Adult male
White-crowned Sparrow, Adult
Lincoln's Sparrow, Second-year
Am Robin, Adult male
Also seen of interest was a flock of about 12 White-faced Ibis that circled a couple of times and departed to the West.
Happy Migration,
Steve Brown
