Seemingly everywhere had a goody today
1- Crow Valley Campground: the famed Painted Redstart, a female Townsend's Warbler, 2 Solitary Sands
2- Norma's Grove: 1 GC Kinglet
3- Private residence near Greeley: Harris's Sparrow
4- Windsor Lake: breeding plumaged RN Grebe
5- Union Reservoir: adult Krider's Red-tailed Hawk. Had one at essentially same spot on nearly same date a year ago, and one at same location in late Feb 2011. Could these sightings all pertain to same bird???? Also, 3 lingering Horned Grebes (along with a dozen or so Eared and hundreds of Western/Clark's Grebes)
Good Birding
