Seventeen bird species were captured today including first of the season Northern Waterthrush, Ovenbird, Swainson's and Hermit Thrushes.

MacGillivray's Warbler- 1
Northern Waterthrush- 1
Ovenbird- 1
Western Wood-pewee- 5
House Wren- 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet- 1
Lincoln's Sparrow- 1
Chipping Sparrow- 1
House Finch- 2
Western Tanager- 1
Swainson's Thrush- 2
Hermit Thrush- 1
American Robin- 1
Brown Thrasher- 1
3 Recaptures- (all which increased fat and weight from original capture/banding date)

Gray Catbird
The Banding station will be open Monday - Saturday Sunrise until @11 AM through October 4th. Be sure to sign up on the Aiken Audubon Website (www.aikenaudubon.com) for gaining permission to the ranch.
Stop on by the station if you are on the ranch and share your sightings.
