[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report, 9/21/24

A very quiet day at Barr - only 11 birds banded (plus 11 recaps, mostly Wilson's, banded earlier this season).  Here are the new birds:

Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Townsend's Warbler 1
Wilson's Warbler 4
Chipping Sparrow 4
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1

Whether we run the station tomorrow will depend on the weather - rain is predicted.  Weather permitting, we are banding Tuesday through Sunday mornings (closed Mondays).  There is a public session most weekday mornings from 7:30-8:30, and three time slots on weekends, at 8, 9, and 10 a.m.  There is a $7 fee and registration is required – click here to register!

Let me know if you have any questions,
