[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report, 9/20/24

A nice day with lots of visitors and some interesting birds.  Stars were 3 different vireo species.  We banded the following 33 birds (plus we recaptured 15 birds, mostly WIWAs that were banded yesterday):

Downy Woodpecker 2 

Plumbeous Vireo 1

Cassin's Vireo 1

Philadelphia Vireo 1

Rock Wren 1

House Wren 1

Swainson's Thrush 1

Wilson's Warbler 18

Spotted Towhee 1

Green-tailed Towhee 4

Lincoln's  Sparrow 1

White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 1 

We are banding Tuesday through Sunday mornings (closed Mondays).  There is a public session most weekday mornings from 7:30-8:30, and three time slots on weekends, at 8, 9, and 10 a.m.  There is a $7 fee and registration is required – click here to register!
