You can export the recording, and edit it with Raven on a computer. Raven is  a free software editing program from Cornell. Here's the link: https://www.ravensoundsoftware.com/software/raven-lite/

It sure would be nice if Merlin allowed for this natively. Exporting a clip would seem to be an easy feature to add.

I do not know if the bird has been seen since I photographed it at the feeder. 

Access info: The homeowner is a birder and is welcoming. The feeder can be seen from the street. She also owns the empty lot next door & has given permission to stand in the lot to watch the feeder. Best place on the empty lot is under the dead tree directly across from the feeder the bird has been using.
