Anyone interested in seeing Andrea Robinsong's photo of the Common Black-Hawk can go to my flickr site @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/98680966@N05/ (at least I hope that will get you there!)
-- I saw a soaring Black-Hawk on April 5th this year over Hotchkiss (approx one mile from where Andrea got the photo). Has it been hanging around all summer? Does it have a mate and a nest nearby? The riparian habitat along the North Fork of the Gunnison near Hotchkiss is quite dense and there are plenty of places to hide a nest (and there aren't that many birders in this area)!
