Arapahoe County:
--An imm Harris's Sparrow was reported by Tina Jones at Hudson Gardens near the bank S Platte River on November 4. It was near the Cafe which is next to the bike trail. Hudson Gardens is at 6115 S Santa Fe.
Boulder County:
--An ad Thayer's Gull was reported by Nunes at Sixmile Reservoir in Boulder on November 3.
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Nunes at Boulder Reservoir on November 4.
--A Swamp Sparrow was reported by Nunes along Boulder Creek W of 75th St on November 4.
Douglas County:
--A 1st year White-throated Sparrow has been visiting the feeders at the home of Royce Beatty in Castle Rock since November 2.

Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Walbek W From Fisherman's Pier on October 30. Norm Lewis refound the Red-necked Grebe at Chatfield on November 1.
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Walbek at Chatfield SP on November 1.
Jefferson County:
--An ad GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW was reported by Henwood at Red Rocks Trading Post on October 18 and refound by Henwood on October 26.
--A White-throated Sparrow (tan stripe) was reported by Tina Jones in her yard at 4400 Bow Mar Drive, Littleton on October 29.
Lake County:
--5 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Kellner at Mount Elbert Forebay on October 28.
Larimer County:
--A 1st winter Harris's Sparrow has been visiting the yard of Sean Walters in Loveland since October 26. If you would like to
try to see it contact him at waltersintherockies AT gmail.com. Walters reported on October 31 that the Harris's Sparrow was seen again.
Montezuma County:
--Two White-winged Scoters were reported by Rees at Totten Reservoir near Cortez on November 4.
Park County:
--3 Surf Scoters were reported by Kellner at Eleven Mile Reservoir seen from Sucker Cove on October 28.
--A White-winged Scoter was reported by Kellner at Antero SWA on October 28.
Pueblo County:
--On October 30 at Pueblo City Park, Percival reported m Black-throated Blue Warbler, winter plumaged Scarlet Tanager, 4 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS (3 ad, 1 juv). The birds were seen near the ravine in NE part of park.
--On October 30 at Pueblo Mountain Park, Goff reported that ACORN WOODPECKERS continue.
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Percival at Pueblo Reservoir off the Sailboard Lauching Area on November 1.
--An ad Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Percival by the S Marina tires at Pueblo Reservoir on November 1. On November 2, Percival reported a Lesser Black-backed Gull swimming off the Sailboard Launching Area in the morning and one at the S Marina tires in the afternoon. On November 3, at S Shore Marina tires, Percival reported 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 1 Thayer's Gull.
--At Valco Ponds on November 1, Percival reported 2 White-throated Sparrows and 1 Swamp Sparrow.
--At Pueblo City Park on November 1, Percival reported 1 m YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER. Drummond reported 1 ad m YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER by the Big Oak near the ravine in SE corner of Pueblo City Park on November 3. On November 4, Percival reported ad m YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER at Pueblo City Park.
Rio Blanco County:
--A TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Andy Thompson on a pond below the intersection of Hwy 13 and Hwy 64 W of Meeker on November 4.
Sedgwick County:
--A Red-bellied Woodpecker was reported by Leatherman in Ovid woods along the creek N and S of SR 138 on November 2.
Washington County:
--A pair of Rusty Blackbirds was reported by Tina Jones at Last Chance on October 31.
Yuma County:
--At Wray Fish Hatchery/Stallker Pond on November 2, Leatherman reported Red-belllied Woodpecker.
--At Beecher Island N of Bonny Reservoir on November 2, Leatherman reported Red-bellied Woodpecker, Swamp Sparrow and 2 Harris's Sparrows.
The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, November 10 will be to Castlewood Canyon State Park and Kingery's bird feeders led by Hugh and Urling Kingery (303-589-4431). Meet leaders at 0800 at CO 86 and Castlewood Canyon Road (Douglas CR 51). The group may bird in the Park, the local gravel pits and other local places depending on bird activity. The walking portion will involve a two mile walk or so, depending on the birds and the group. Bring lunch and your state parks pass. Group will eat lunch while watching the feeders at the Kingery's.
The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, November 11 will be to Longmont Area led by Chris Owens (303-772-6048). Meet leader at 0800 at Jim Hamm Park. From I-25 take Exit 240. Go W 4 miles on CO 119 to Boulder/Weld County Line Road, then north 2 miles to Jim Hamm Park at 17th Ave. This will be a 3/4 day trip ending about 2 pm so bring lunch and extra water. Be sure to dress for Colorado weather.
