There was a basic plumaged adult Mew Gull on the tires at South Shore Marina at Pueblo Reservoir today. Eight species of gulls were present on the reservoir. Adult Great Black-backed (which should be here until mid-February), three Lesser Black-backed (2 adults, 1 first year), and one Thayer's Gull (juvenile) were the highlights.
Yesterday's wacky gull wasn't around today as far as I know, it appears that this same gull was photographed and was causing confusion in Saskatchewan in October.
I didn't see anything of note in the SWA on NW side of Pueblo Reservoir, except for a Rough-legged Hawk, a Common Loon, and three Double-crested Cormorants. I had no luck finding Black Scoter, Red-necked Grebe, etc.
