[cobirds] Female Harrier at Walden Ponds

Yesterday afternoon there was a female Harrier soaring over Cottonwood Marsh at Walden Ponds, the first one there I have seen in a really long tine, at least a few years. There is also an odd Mallard hybrid, maybe a domestic escape (a feral duck?) in the first pond that Cara said has been there a while when I called her to report it,, inreresting colors, a little larger than a Mallard with beautiful blue-green plumage on its back, there was a good assortment of ducks and at least one Greater Yellowlegs previously reported.
