Hello All,
Arrived back in town this afternoon and joined a small group of
birders between 4:30 and 5:00 P.M. to watch for the Brambling. The
Brambling did not show, but there was a female Common Redpoll that
made several appearances.
The Common Redpoll(also reported earlier in the week by several
different birders) is a new bird for the BCLP Checklist.
I will look for the Brambling in the morning when Bear Creek Lake Park
(BCLP) opens and then submit a post to Cobirds. The first time I saw
the bird, it was in a different location than the bridge, so I will do
some exploring and let folks know if I can relocate it.
