Yesterday, Nick Moore, Sean Walters and I birded Prewitt Reservoir, Akron, and Last Chance
The Prewitt Inlet Channel area had only one flock of birds, basically, but within that flock were
1 Cassin's Vireo
1 Red-eyed Vireo
2 Great Crested Flycatchers
1 Cordilleran (actually, Cordilleran/Pacific-slope) Flycatcher
2 Olive-sided Flycatchers
1 Orange-crowned Warbler
The cove at Prewitt that typically has shorebirds first, had a nice little flock in the morning including
1 juv SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER
1 ad Long-billed Dowitcher
4 Lesser Yellowlegs
1 Stilt Sand
2 Semi Sands
10+ Least and Baird's Sands, each
1 Wilson's Phal
several Spotted Sands and a scream of Killdeer
Akron was bird-free
Last Chance had a N Waterthrush and a rather early Myrtle (Yellow-rumped) Warbler
Good Birding
