-- If you need one last summertime experience in the mountains before heading east for the CFO convention, I hope you'll participate in one or more bird walks in and around Telluride, San Miguel County, this coming weekend, Aug. 23-24.
The kickoff event starts at Between the Covers, a bookstore in town, Saturday morning, Aug. 23rd. From the bookstore, we'll search for birds in and around town, and, yes, we'll look for the Pacific Wren discovered earlier this summer by Derek Lovitch and Jeannette Lovitch.
