Hi, cobirders.
This morning at 8:13 a.m., Jeanne and I saw the Baird's Sparrow on Drennan Road about .25 mile west of Hemmingway Rd. It sat up on a fence wire for nearly 20 seconds before flying out into the field. A couple of minutes later it returned to the fence and was also spotted by John Drummond.
We do not know if there are more than one Baird's Sparrows as some have suggested, but we got great looks at this one.
