[cobirds] Summit County

While skiing the past several days, at Keystone and Copper Mtn, I regularly heard and occasionally saw Red Crossbills (RECR).  Anecdotally, this is the most RECR's that I have heard in the last seven years while skiing in Summit County.   Today, on North Peak of Keystone I saw my first flock of Rosy-Finches.   The flock was small, ~25 birds, and seemed to be all Brown-capped Rosy-Finches although I was not able to get good views of every individual.

At the Blue River Water Treatment Plant in Silverthorne, there were 40+ Goldeneyes, all Barrow's (BAGO) as best I could determine.   The drakes in adult plumage were all Barrow's and all the females and juveniles seemed to be BAGO's but I will review my photos to see if I can pick out any Common Goldeneyes.   Two surprise birds were a female N. Shoveler and a Swamp Sparrow (pics of both).  My eBird report for the treatment plant is:
