[cobirds] El Paso County: Greater White Fronted Goose and Ross's Geese

Went out to Prospect Lake in Colorado Springs this afternoon.
Looked like the entire population for Canadian and Cackling geese for El Paso County decided to stay at Prospect Lake and Memorial Park.
Saw one Greater White Fronted Goose on the softball field near the skateboard park.

Quick jump over to the Doubletree Pond off Circle and I-25.
Nope, I was wrong about the entire Canadian and Cackling goose population being at Prospect: the other half was at Doubletree.
Never seen so many birds on the ice at Doubletree.
Saw four Ross's Geese, one beautiful Wood duck, Common Goldeneyes (no Barrows), Hooded Mergensers, Least Scaup, and various other common birds for this time of year.
(Photos of the Ross's Geese didn't come out, again!  One of these days I'll learn how to take pictures on a cloudy day!)
