While visiting our daughter in Broomfield I slipped out for a couple of hours. At Frederick Recreation Area I relocated a Greater White-fronted Goose among about 3000 white-cheeked geese. It took a while to sort through 6000 goose legs to find an orange pair and another five minutes for the well concealed bird to raise it's head, proving it was not just another Common Merganser. Also several Rough-legged's, a Harlan's at Sheridan & Hwy 7, and a Dark Ferruginous on Colorado south of 168th.
